The Mkhitarist Congregation manuscripts collection among them “Haru­tyun Kurdian collection” is a little part of our common medieval manuscript he­ritage and contains only 300 Armenian manuscripts, however, according to the fair definition of compiler, it is the largest personal collection of Armenian ma­nu­scripts, which was made by the “personal funds” and belonged to one per­son whose name was Harutyun Kurdian and was gathered within 60 years of his adult life from the age 18 (1918) until the end of 1976.

The article describes the process occurrence and gathering collection (sources), it is revealed that the collection mainly appeared from West and East Ar­menian valuable manuscripts which were saved during the years of Genocide of Armenians spread all over the world.

In the article is given general assessment for the collection, by name is listed the most valuable units.

As well is represented the detailed list, the process of composition and pre­sent state of this valuable collection which involves 300 unique units of manu­scripts.
